Hi, I hoping that by posting known information about my own family, it can be compared with known information about others' families to clear up some of the suspect information for all involved.

We can trace for certain parts of the family tree 16th century England. Other parts, including our native american ancestry is a little harder. This is where there is much suspect information since denial of such ancestry was extremely common in the 18th and 19th centuries. I can find many common ancestors with some different siblings. With families so big back then, with multiple consecutive marriages, I'm sure the grandchildren of the nieces, nephews and grandchildren, may have misunderstood, or even not known about some relatives.
