Biography

Sarah (Smith) Jeffrey is a part of US Black heritage.

Sarah grew up in Winona MN and went to school through the 9th grade. By 1910, her family had moved to St. Paul, MN. She married her cousin, Arthur Jeffrey. They had two daughters. Sarah and Arthur divorced c. 1937, and Sarah lived with her daughter and granddaughter in St. Paul.
