Biography

Anna Smith was born on May 30, 1807 in Shelbourne County, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of Archelaus Jr. and Patience (Hamilton) Smith.

Anna Smith married James L. Ross in 1824. They had at least the following children: Aaron b. 1825; Thomas Smith b. 1828; Mary Jane b. 1830; Arletta May b. 1837; Kinsman b. 1842; Elizabeth J. b. 1847.

Anna passed away on July 1, 1859 at the age of 52. She is buried at the Centerville Cemetery, Centreville, Shelburne County, Nova Scotia, Canada.
