Hi Monty, I was noticing in my feed that you were working on some Greer profiles. We actually have a Greer Name Study, if you are interested. To be a part of this, clink on the link and follow instructions for Project members.

Hi Monty, I was the New Netherland Settlers project leader up until March. I'm a full time student and haven't had anymore time to untangle the Kuykendall mess. I did spend a considerable amount of time cleaning them up though. The Kuykendall's are my direct ancestors.

What collaboration are you referencing?

There's no issue about who Abraham Kuykendall is and his military service. The issue at hand is about Elizabeth Fidler. Sources will help clear up any disagreement on who the wives are. Again, please provide the sources for Elizabeth Fidler to substantiate she's his first wife.

Regards, Michelle

Huybertse Lambertsen (Brink-36)

Thank you for the information from

Words of caution: Consider any information from questionable. is one of the least reliable secondary sources out there, as they collect information without checking validity...they are simply in business to make money. I suggest that church records of the time and gravestone records are much more reliable...baptisms, marriages, burials, etc..

Herbert Lambertse(n) was a sponsor at three KRDC baptisms after his claimed April 11, 1702 death. The last baptism he attended was on Sep 22, 1705. Further, no evidence has been found that he was baptised "Brink" or used the surname "Brink" for church and civil activities during his lifetime.

Have fun!

Thanks for information from, but, like so many of those sites, the data may or may not be "correct". At Wikitree we are looking for actual records, such as birth/death/marriage. Take a look at Examples of Sources

Hi, again, Monty! :-)

I saw your note about the document on Ezekiel's profile. To change who is connected with that document, just scroll down to the "Edit Image Details" section here:

You can then add Solomon's WikiTree ID (Stansberry-57) into the box there, scroll down a little more and click the button labeled SAVE CHANGES TO IMAGE DETAILS.

You already have it listed as a Source instead of a Photo, so that's good.

Let me know if you need anymore help!! :-)

Thank you, Monty, for the info on Esther (Kremer) Stansbury's name!

I haven't had a chance to do much with her, but I added that in as a variation. That family has SO many different spellings floating around the Internet.

I'll see if I can round up any sources for her and her husband.

Thanks, again!

Hi Monty, Not sure which Shilling merge you were referring to, but, if it is, the wives also need to be merged. The merge is proposed. Then there will be only one wife on the profile.

I understand what you say. Do we have a book or any document to support your saying ?

Genealogy is all based on documents to support our information.

Hello Monty,

the best way to settle a merge proposal that you don't want to do is good sources. Original source is the best. Such situations come when profiles have poor sources.

Can you get a document saying where your profile was born or married ? This would help clarify the situation.
