Biography
Elmer was born in 1861, son of Stillman Smithers and Lurana Backus.
He married Jennie Hawkins, about 1881.
He passed away in 1902.[1]He is buried in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Heuvelton, St. Lawrence County, New York, USA.[2]
