Biography

Ran The Marilyn [sic] Smithson Hodgson School of Dance, established by 1912 and running "as late as 1956", per the D.C. Public Library collection of photographs from it: https://www.dclibrary.org/node/45135 . Reportedly there is a picture in the collection of the Hodgsons's son John C. Hodgson as a boy.

In all other records, she is Madolin, not Marilyn.

Was in Rochester with her husband during the brief period he worked in Advertising at Kodak (following his brother Millard there).

Buried next to her husband in Arlington National Cemetery, Section 4 Site 2879 WS.
