Smitherman-52 and Smithyman-6 appear to represent the same person because: Smitherman-52 is a floating profile with no information. Looking at the history of changes it seems it had the intention of being the son of Samuel and Phoebe Smytheman. I think the best option is to merge these Smitherman-52 has no information. The difference in last name is not surprising. The records at this time list the family as Smytheman, Smithyman, Smitherman, and Smotherman, so no one is sure what the correct spelling is.
