Percy was born in 1886, the son of Robert Smyth and Mary Anne Mulrenan. [1]
In 1912, Percy Dudley Smyth married Mary Ellen O'Sullivan.[2]
He passed away in 1936, aged 52. [3]
Obituary: Members of the Irish National Foresters will regret to learn of the death of Bro. Percy D. Smyth, P.H.C.R., which occurred suddenly at St. Vincent's Hospital on Sunday morning last. The deceased was a highly esteemed member of the society, a regular attendant at the annual meetings, and took a very keen interest in everything that tended towards the advancement of the order and Catholic and Irish affairs generally. For several years he has been secretary of the Tom Moore branch, Windsor, as well as being an executive officer. In 1929 he filled the office of High Chief Ranger.[4]
