Biography
Susan was born in 1877. She was the daughter of Michael Smythe and Annie Riley.
She married John Steele Arbuthnot on 26 December 1896 at Manhattan, New York, New York, United States.[1] He was about 20 years her senior.
They had two children.
US Census Event Date 1910: Living with her husband and two children in Manhattan Ward 19, New York, New York, United States. Aged 45.
Her husband died in 1912 at the age of about 49.
US Census Event Date 1920: Living with her daughter Mary in Manhattan Assembly District 20, New York, New York, United States. Aged 43 and widowed.
She died some time after 1920.
