Biography
In her husband Edward’s will of 2 April 1622 and proved 9 Oct 1622 he records Penelope as his wife and his Father in law as John Smythe. [1]
John Smith, her Father, in the Historical Antiquities of Hertfordshire is said to be from Bardfield[2]
