Biography

Bonnie (Snead) Brown is a part of US Black heritage.

Bonnie was born in 1928 in Holly Bluff, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Joe Snead and Georgia Cockelray. She was raised by her parents in Yazoo County, Mississippi.

By 1950 she had moved to Detroit, Michigan. In September of 1950 she married Maylord Brown in Ohio.

She passed away in 2008 in Saginaw, Michigan and was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saginaw. She was survived by eight children, 30 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
