Elizabeth A. Snead was born about 22 Aug. 1817 in VIrginia.[1]
She married W H. Rudd on 12 April 1838 in Marion, Missouri.[2]
She and William appeared on the census of 20 Aug. 1850 at District 19, Clark, Missouri.[3] She was a farmer when she appeared on the census of 9 June 1860 at Madison, Clark, Missouri. James Leroy Phillips, son of James Phillips and Susan (Snead) Phillips, possibly a nephew of Elizabeth, was living with her.[4] She appeared on the census of 1870 at Bethel, Shelby, Missouri.[5] She appeared on the census of 11 June 1880 in the home of her son at Fabius, Knox, Missouri.[6] She appeared on the census of 8 June 1900 in the home of her daughter at Salt River, Knox, Missouri.[7]
Elizabeth died on 4 Jan. 1902 probably in Missouri and was buried at Zion Hill Cemetery, Monticello, Lewis County, Missouri. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone and a link to that of a child.[1]
