Biography

Ephraim Snell was born on 25 Jan 1756 in Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony, son of Jonathan Snell (1718 - 1800) and Martha Fobes (1728 - 1781).

Ephraim married Anna Keith (1756 - 1790) on 23 Mar 1780 in Bridgewater. Their daughter was Amelia (Snell) Howard (1780 - 1863).

Ephraim married Hannah Kingman (1763 - ~1846) on 4 Jan 1792 in Bridgewater. Their daughter was Hannah Kingman (Snell) Leonard (1795 - 1880).

Ephraim died on 30 Sep 1805 in Bridgewater aged 49. He is buried in Powder House Graveyard, West Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

In 1805, Joseph Kingman of Bridgewater was appointed guardian of his minor son, Ephraim Snell, who was under the age of 14 years.[1]
