Birth

William, was born 1821 in Cornwall, England,[1]

Marriage

He married Annabella Rupert Miller Sloan about 1852. They were early settlers in Hullett Township.

Immigration

William immigrated from England in December 1841. He travelled from London, England to New York, USA.[2]

William died in 1882 in Hullett, Huron, Ontario and is buried with his wife in the Kinburn Cemetery in Central Huron, Ontario .

James Snell [Thomas James Snell] told me, "Father's worldly goods consisted of the axe on his shoulder and a quarter in his pocket. Even two years later than that, when he married, it was often potatoes and cabbage for meals one day, varied by cabbage and potatoes the next." [6]
