George was born in 1803. He was the son of Mary and Peter Snell.
"George P Snell 1803-1882 married Pauline Reynolds 1808-1878, homesteaded in Oxford County, Ontario, Canada. Many of his grandchildren settled in Grand Rapids, Michigan."[1]
He married Pauline Reynolds and their family lived and farmed in Dereham, Oxford (county), Canada West (Ontario).[2][3]
In 1881, he was living with his daughter, Delia and her family in Dereham.[4]
