Emma was born about 1861. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Snell. She lived with her grandfather, Jacob Snell and grandmother, Philona Snell in lived in Norwich, Oxford, Ontario. She married Lewis Albert Pearce in 1887. Their family continued to live Norwich. (Emma’s grandmother, Philona continued to live with them until the time of her death In 1902.) After the death of her husband, Lewis, she lived in Tillsonburg, Ontario. She passed away after 1921.
