Biography
When Thomas William Sneyd was born in 1837 in Ipstones, Staffordshire, England, his father, Thomas, was 28 and his mother, Emma, was 27.
He was educated at Harrrow.
In 1856 he joined the Second Dragoon Guards.
He commanded the regiment as Lt Col from 1877 - 1882.
he retired from the Miliatary in 1887.
He married Charlotte Marion Repton on October 28, 1879. They had three children during their marriage.
He died on May 1, 1918, having lived a long life of 81 years.
