Biography

Levinia Snider was born about 1840 in South Carolina.[1] Her parents were Orrel and Ruth Snyder. In the 1850 census Vina (age 10) was in Township 5 Pickens, Pickens, South Carolina, United States.[2]

In the 1860 census Levina (age 20) was at 2nd Regiment, Pickens, South Carolina, United States.[3]

In the 1870 census Lavina (age 28) was in Rabun, Georgia, United States.[4]

In the 1880 census Lavina (age 36), Keeping House, was the wife of Adarim Speed in District 1014, Rabun, Georgia, United States.[5]

In the 1900 census Lavina (age 48) was the wife of Fowler Speed in District 556, Rabun, Georgia, United States.[6]

In the 1910 census Laninia (age 76) was the wife of Adirine Speed in Rabun, Georgia, United States.[7]

Lavina was in a record in 1917-1918 in Rabun, Georgia, United States.[8]

Livania's daughter Julia Smith died on 28 August 1918 in Greenville, Greenville, South Carolina, United States.[9]

In the 1920 census Lovinia (age 78) was the widowed mother of John Speed in Rabun, Georgia, United States.[10]

Lavina, daughter of Arl Snider & Ruth Barnes, died (age 97) on 12 January 1928 in Clayton, Rabun, Georgia, United States.[11]

Lavania's son R D Speed died on 6 March 1958 in Greenville, Greenville, South Carolina, United States.[12]

Lavina's son Andy Speed was born.[13][14]
