Biography

About or before 1800, John was born. He was over 21 years old in 1821 when he made his land petition.

On Jan. 23, 1821, John Snider Jr. of Ernestown Township made a land petition for 200 acres. He was the son of John Snyder, a Loyalist of the same township. Matthew Clark of the same township was to act as his agent. The petition was recommended. [1]
