Biography

About or before 1813, William was born. He was over 21 years old when he made his land petition in 1834.

On July 11, 1834, William Snider of Ernestown Township made a land petition for 200 acres. He was the son of John Snider, a Loyalist of the same township, who had done his duty during the late war. Alexander Grant was to act as his agent. John Snider Sr. certified the petition. On Feb. 11, 1836, the petition was recommended. [1]
