Biography
Margrietje Snyder was born in June 1728 in Harlingen, Somerset Co., New Jersey[1]. She was the daughter of Christopher Snyder and Maria Zilring.
She married John Lake. Together they had the following children:
She went to Upper Canada with her husband after the U.S. Revolutionary War, settling in Ernestown Twp., west of Kingston. Her husband is a proven United Empire Loyalist[2].
She passed away in about 1808 in Ernestown, Upper Canada.
