DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Matthew by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Matthew:

Snoddy-486 and Snoddy-153 do not represent the same person because: This is a rejected match.

There are two different Matthew Snoddy Wills on this page. One is dated 1 Feb 1815 and names issue Mabel Donovan, Adam, Matthew, John, William, Polly Johnston and Benjamin.

The other, shown in a photo on the side is dated 29 Oct 1776 and names different people. It seems that one is correct and one should be deleted.

There are three John Snoddy profiles claiming to be the son of Matthew Snoddy and Mabel P Unknown. It appears these three profiles represent two different persons.

Snoddy-102 is a John Snoddy who married Mabel Johnston c 1784 PA and lists their nine children.

Snoddy-228 and Snoddy-307 both seem to represent John Snoddy who married Margaret Walker and they died at Silver Creek, Madison County, KY

I don't know if this problem was created by the last merge...but one of those "John Snoddy"s is not the son of Matthew and Mabel.

I tried to clean this up a bit after the merge. However the bottom bit is still confusing. Maybe one of the managers will take a look at it. The 7th reference says "Matthew lists his family in his will", then it lists Hannah Strain as his wife. Then It says John Snoddy married Hannah Strain.

So my question, which is it? Matthew married Hannah Strain or John married Hannah Strain? I think it is a layout problem.
