1799 - Widow Batten buys 200a from John Springer; Robert Thornton sells 400a to Adam Brown.[1]

7 July 1804 - "By the Infermation of Henry Batton & George Loe it appears that Joseph Batton, John Batton, Catty Batton adn Betsy Batton, children of Joseph Batton Deceased, the mother of the above children married a certain Steven Fleharty and it appears by the above Evadence that the said children is used unmarciful by there stepfather and many times in want of food and rayment."[2]

9 Aug 1804 - Deposition of Mary Fleaharty; 9 Aug 1804, in case of Merrell vs. Batton. Mary Fleaharty is the widow of Joseph Batton, Henry Batton's brother, now the wife of Stephen Fluharty.[3]

1810 - Isaac Batton & Jacob and Catherine Fulkerson vs. Stephen and Mary Fleaharty. Chancery case, 21 July 1810 Summons, In Sept. dismissed by order of the plaintiff [4]

Snodgrass-1314 and Snodgrass-179 appear to represent the same person because: Having consulted Rick Toothman years ago about the Snodgrasses and spent time going into court records, I am certain these women are the same. She went on to marry Stephen Fluharty and then _____ Floyd. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Mouraine
