Biography

George Snow was born in 1828 in York, Yorkshire, England, UK. He was the youngest brother of John Snow, MD, a notable mid-19th Century English physician who assisted Queen Victoria with anesthetics during the births of at least 2 of her 9 children.[1]

The UCLA biographical sketch of John Snow, MD, states the following:[2]

"Religion was a central part of the Snow family life. They attended York's All Saints North Street, an Anglican church, and the children were all baptized there, including John Snow..." AND
"George SNOW (1828-30), like many children of this era, died young."

The exact date and cause of young George Snow's death remain unknown.
