Frederick E. "Fred" Snow was born around 1925 in Manuels Cove, Harbour & Bell Island, Newfoundland. He was the son of John Edward Snow (1896-1984) and his wife, Emily Susanna (Stanley) Snow (1901-1973), both of Newfoundland.

On the 1945 Newfoundland Census, Fred E. Snow was recorded as 18 years old, single, living with his parents and his sister, Helen Snow, age 21, in Grand Falls, Newfoundland. ^[1]

After 1945, Fred Snow married Nellie V Kearley, b: 13 June 1928, in Newfoundland. They lived in St. John's, Newfoundland.

Fred Snow passed away on 11 October 2004 in Topsail, Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada. He was buried at the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Topsail, Avalon Peninsula Census Division, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
