↑ Horace E. Snow's paternal family pedigree is unfortunately "broken" as his great-grandfather, George Philips Snow was born to a Scottish soldier named George Philips who deserted during the American Revolution in 1780. George was adopted shortly after his birth by Joshua Snow and his wife, taking Snow as his surname. Consequently, his lineage cannot be traced.
