Eunice "Shorty" Snow was born in 1914 on his parents' farm in Smith County, Texas, USA. He was the son of William Riley "Willie" Snow, b: 1877 in Smith Co., Texas, and his wife, Lula (Fountain) Snow, b: 7 May 1882 in Bullard Co., Texas. The couple had married on December 12, 1899 in Smith County, Texas, USA. [1] [2]
Eunice "Shorty" Snow's paternal grandparents were William Washington Snow, b: March 1848 in Cherokee County, Texas (d: 20 Feb 1930 in Van Zandt Co., TX) and his wife, Katherine "Kate" (Unknown) Snow, b: Sep 1861 in Mississippi. William W. Snow was the son of William Riley Snow, born in 1809 in Georgia (d: 1860 in Cherokee Co., TX) and his wife, Elizabeth Garland (Key) Snow, b: 12 Jan 1820 in North Carolina. They married in Walker Co., Alabama, and emigrated to Texas after it became a US State in 1845.[3] [4]
"Shorty" Snow married Gladys Thomas, b: August 19, 1917 in Union, Wilson County, Texas, USA. They married in 1933 in Sherman, Grayson County, Texas, where her family had a farm. Their son, John William "Dub" Snow was born shortly thereafter.

During World War II, "Shorty" and "Nay" (Gladys' nickname) Snow left East Texas and moved to Forth Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. They had the following children:
Eunice "Shorty" Snow passed away on October 10, 1991, in Fort Worth, Tarrant, Texas, USA. He was 77 years old. Shorty was buried at the Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, USA. [6] His wife survived his passing. Gladys (Thomas) Snow died on April 7, 2010 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was 92 years old and is buried next to her husband at the Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, USA. [7]
