Biography

Matilda Snowden (married name Spring) was born around 1877, the daughter of Mary Snowden (nee Smith) and Stewart Snowden.^[1]

Matilda Snowden, spinster, residing Irishtown road, daughter of Stewart Snowden, married on 5 July 1901 at Registrar's office, Dublin, to Charles Spring, bachelor, Sergt R. G. A., residing Portobello Barrachs, son of John Spring, Cooper. ^[2]

Matilda died on 9 July 1929 in Prahran, Victoria, Australia, aged 52.^[3] Their children were:^[3]

• Christiana Mary Spring (1904?–1972)
• Nora Irene Spring (1914–?)
