Dave Snyder lives in Silver Spring, MD, with his spouse, Mark Flaherty. He is originally from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He is researching his family, most of whom emigrated from: Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and England.
His ancestors emigrated to the United States, initially settling in: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky, and Wisconsin.
They became Midwestern farmers or loggers. They settled and reared their families in: Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Michigan.
A few continued on to: California, Oregon, and Washington.
Surnames going back 5 generations: Snyder, Schneider, Spearman, Michaels, Rethemeier, Rolls, Hody, Pope, Hunsinger, Loesch, Sweet, Kappel, Rathor, Simons, Akers, Mitchell, and Wernli.
His sister Phyllis, Aunt Martha, and Great-Aunt Mabel paved the road ahead of him with genealogical research.

PS If you get a "Page Not Found" error when clicking WikiTree email links, you can often find a working version in the public comments on your profile.
PPS Did you discover that the tags on your profile are clickable links to a page of other people who have that tag? You can add more, up to 20 total.
