Biography

Mary was born about 1857. She passed away after 1910 and before Max Epstein died in 1941 because he was widowed at the time of his death. (She had a tendency to become younger in the censuses, but her age was given as 24 at the time of Hyman's birth.)

Some of the birth records have her birth surname spelled as Salomon, but the marriage records for her children, which they were intended to sign, have her name spelled as Solomon.
