Baptized July 8, 1799 Mackinac Island, which was in United States hands at that time.
He was married before 1829 as he and his wife and 8 children moved from Drummond Island (near Mackinac) to Penetanguishene, Ontario, Canada with his mother and brother Lewis, all in one boat. The rest of the family came in other boats.[1]
He lived to age 80 and died at Killarney (see entry 248)[2]
