Biography

James Morgan Songer was born 28 Sep 1866 in Madison Township, Dubois County, Indiana, the son of William Floyd Songer and Mary Ann Fisher. On 23 Sep 1893, he married Louisa Sunderman. They had four children.

  1. Minnie E. (Songer) Spurlock (1895–1963)
  2. Hugo Elijah Songer (1901–1982)
  3. Ema Jane (Songer) Lovell (1905–1984)
  4. Florence Mabel (Songer) Woodruff (1907–2000)

James died in 1934 at age 67 and is buried with his wife at Mayo Cemetery, Duff, Dubois County, Indiana.
