My ancestors were Danube Swabians and German Bohemians and both sides fled after World War II to the Mannheim region in Germany. I was born 1972 in Mannheim and lived thereafter near Frankfurt, Darmstadt and Mainz. I am married and my two kids are nearly grown up.

Research Notes

I inherited my maternal grandfather's research information which he collected during WWII in several Bohemian communities. For my paternal side I have two books on genealogies in Betschmen/Syrmien especially for the Sorg family. Via a Sorg-relative whose ancestors stayed in the Palatinate I got access to his research made in the Palatinate archives in Ludwigshafen about 2010 reaching back to 1555.
