Biography

Ruth Sorrells is believed to have been born about 1806 in Tennessee, the daughter of David and Mary (Bartlett) Sorrells.

In the 1870 U.S. Census, Ruth is listed at the age of 68 living with her husband, her daughter Louisa, and her youngest son Andrew on the farm in Independence County, Arkansas.^[5]

Ruth (Sorrells) White is thought to have died about 1871 in Independence County, Arkansas.
