Biography

John was with his family through 1895 Census. There are sources on this online tree ^[1] that I don't have access to--see "Notes" especially.

I've added a short quote from those notes here because it involves both family branches for Elsie's descendants; "He {John Sotow} joined Alhambra Commandery, Knights Templar, in 1927 and served as its Treasurer for three years. He also served as President of the El Monte Temple Association for four years. The other members were: James D. Cleminson, John Irwine, Roy Wilkerson and A.C. Drake."

I could not find a free digital copy of the book referenced but see it available for sale at many sites online ^[2]
