Abishai married Abigail Delano on 14 May 1741 in Duxbury, Massachusetts[3] and they had the following children born in Duxbury:[2][4]

Abishai was named in the will of his father, Josiah Soule, dated 5 Nov 1762.[5]
Abishai died 4 Jan 1777/8,[4] aged 70, in Duxbury.[2][6]
Abishai Soule's will dated 1 Oct 1777 was presented for probate (#18753) in Duxbury, Massachusetts on 7 Dec 1778 by his wife, Abigail, who Abishai had named executrix of his will.[7] He mentions his wife, and his children, Abigail Soul, Nathaniel Soul, John Soul, Ellathear, wife of Joshua Hall, Duxbury Wadsworth, wife of Sinaca Wadsworth, Mary Soule, and Abisha Soul.
