Biography
Letitia Southwick was born 30 Oct 1864 in Iowa or Pennsylvania (according to census records, both are listed but according to Find A Grave it was Iowa). She was the daughter of John William Southwick and Esther L. Pardee, and lived with her parents in Dallas, Missouri in 1870 at the age of 5 [1] At the age of 15, she worked on her father's farm in Benton Township, Dallas, Missouri. [2]
She married first Frank Tisdell on 22 Apr 1882 in Dallas, Missouri [3] and had a daughter, Emma, with him on 22 Sep 1884 in Dallas, Missouri [4].
By 26 Apr 1890, [5]under the name of "Mrs. L. C. Tidwell," Letitia married Levi Joseph Eldridge. They had 2 children together.
Letitia died in Altus, Oklahoma on 12 June 1952 at the age of 87. [6]
