Henry Southworth was the son of Edward Southworth. His will was dated May 23, 1625 and proved Nov 12 1625, by his daughters Margaret, wife of D'Arthur Ducke & Jane Bull. [1]

Referring to the church of Wick Champflower, Somerset, England: "Against the south wall is a curious old monument of various kinds of marble, having an open arched pediment supported by two detached black pillars with Corinthian capitals gilt. On the tablet is this inscription: “ Here under lyeth the body of Henry Southwortb, esq; lord of this mannor of Wyke, who at his owne charge builte and adorned this chappell, and departed this life the 23d of May, 1625.”" [2]
