Flag of Lancashire (adopted 2008)
Margaret (Southworth) Brown was born in Lancashire, England.

Margaret was born 12 May 1811 at Lamberhead Green, Orrell, Wigan, Lancashire; [1] and baptized 25 May at Wigan All Saints, She was the base daughter of Sarah Southworth of Orrell; father not recorded. [2] [3]

On 11 September 1831 at Hindley All Saints, Wigan, she married Richard Brown by banns. They were both of that parish. [4]

Research Notes

Her birth and marriage records use the surname Southworth. No pre-marriage records have been cited with use of surname Parkinson, although on her children's records she gave her maiden name as Parkinson.

The middle name Dunhill appears on two death registrations for her children in Utah and does not appear on any English records -- not clear where it came from? Please leave a comment if you have more information. McNabb-412 09:08, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
