Philip Sovereign was born on March 28, 1799 in New Jersey, United States. His parents were Leonard Sovereign and Ruhamah Culver. He married Lavina Jenne.
He died on July 28, 1893 in Brant, Ontario, Canada

Research Notes

Both Owen and Mutrie incorrectly identify this man as the Philip Sovereign who settled in Trafalgar Township in Halton. The Philip Sovereign of Trafalgar was the uncle of this Philip. He moved there in 1812 when this Philip was only thirteen years old.^[1]
