The muster was found in a muster book headed, “Captain John Scudder’s Muster Roll Book – October 4th, 1777” and contained in the case of Mary Demoney – Widow #20, 976 at the Pension Bureau, Washginton, D.C. A certified copy was made and filed at the New Jersey State Archives. Also included in the Muster Roll book is a muster roll of Captain Laing’s Company dated 1 October 1777. [1]
