Will
- Will whereby the testator orders her Personal Estate to be appraised and divided after debts is paid.
- I will that all my just debts as shall be by me at death together with my funeral expenses and all charges touching the proving of or otherwise concerning this my will shall in the first paid out of my personal estate and effects be fully paid and satisfied and from and after payment thereof and subject thereunto then my will is all the residue of my goods, stocks, chattels, merchandises, and household furnitures shall be indifferently appraised and after such appraisement made that the same shall be divided as shall hereafter be mentioned amongst my dear and well beloved children, John, Elias, William and Mary, and Samuel.
- I will to have one hundred dollars each and everyone a piece and I will further that after these five children above mentioned shall receive each one hundred dollars that the remainder of my estate be equally divided amongst my seven children, Elizabeth, Susan, John, Elias, William, Mary, and Samuel.

- and I will further that all my claims against the Land for building Granary and also the money I payed Lewis McLane out of my own money before the Land was extended for rent, be brought in to my estate with digging the well and putting up post and rail fence which receipts be found in my papers and my grandson Charles Deputy, Rachel's Son, I will and bequeath five dollars
- In memorandum of articles which I wish to come out of those children's parts who have had them
- John L Deputy, thirteen dollars and fifty cents to pay Johnson. - $13.50

- One bed and bedding as it stands upstairs in the little room, thirty dollars this money has all been advanced since the first of March 1824 30.00

- one Hog wght 100 and 50 lbs at 5 dollars per hundred 7.50
- 10 yds linen at 37 1/2 cents per yard 3.75
- My daughter Mary Deputy I give the cow called King and the blue and white double coverlet and the silver teaspoons which I want to be taken out before the appraisement and free from any charge
- Samuel Deputy I give the white and blue and red double coverlet also free charge

- Before me personally appeared Clement Layton and George Layton the two subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Will who being qualified according to law, did say, that they saw Mary Deputy the testator sign and seal the foregoing instrument of writing and heard her publish, pronounce, declare the aforesaid to be her Last Will and Testament, that at the time of her so doing she was to the best of her belief of sound and disposing mind and memory, that it was at the request of the Testator in her hand and in presence of each other they severally subscribed their names as witnesses on Testimony whereof then hereunto set my hand and seal.
