folio 6 page 4
- Ann Melling 25 Servant Y //
- Not profiled - identity uncertain.
- One death in Prescot 1841-51 (in 1842), but the age is 36. Could work if the 1841 age has been miscopied or misread and should have been 35. No matching burial listed for the 1842 death, on LanOPC, FS or in Windleshaw Chantry MIs.
- Two marriages in Prescot 1841-51. One is to Henry Challinor - profiled.
- The other is to John Hill in 1844 - both resident in Knowsley when they married - had difficulty tracing them, there were some potential child's birth registrations (James 1846 Manchester, John Thomas 1848 Manchester, William James 1852 Wigan, Eliza 1853 Manchester, Thomas 1854 Wigan, John 1855 Wigan, Horatio 1856 Manchester, Philip 1857 Bury) but some or all have have been another family or families.
- There was an Ann Melling chr 11 Feb 1816 St Helens Chapel dtr of Thomas & Betty & not with her parents (both still alive) in 1841, but she may have been buried 13 Feb 1829 St Helens Chapel aged 14.

- Isabella Jane Pemberton
- Anne Pemberton 15 Straw Bonnet Maker Y /
- Probably a daughter of John & Jane Pemberton
- Did not marry plumber Robert Davies in 1845 - that Ann's father was a labourer and she was born in Cheshire per census in FS tree
- Probably did marry Joseph Hampson on 18 May 1848 at Edge Hill St Mary's image, father John a glassman
- A Jane Pemberton was one of the witnesses & signed but it doesn't match her sister Isabel Jane's signature; could be their mother
- Couldn't see the couple in censuses; no children's births registered; couldn't identify Joseph in baptisms though his father was Joshua a somewhat unusual name (he's not the Joseph son of Joshua chr 1817 in Wigan).
- John Hibbert
- Lewis Rigby
- Ann Rigby
folio 6 page 5
- Helen Harrison
- Saml Rigby
- Lewis Rigby
- Charles Shaw
- Ellen Shaw 35 N
- Not profiled - maiden name could be Butter or Butler. Marriage images checked - the banns record really does look more like Butler (both letters crossed but second is a clear loop) while the marriage record name and her signature both resemble Butter (both letters crossed and no loop visible on either). Born abt 1801 Birmingham per 1851; not found after 1851, may have died 1858 aged 63 & bur 6 Nov 1858 St Thomas, Eccleston abode Windle. No suitable marriages or better-age-matching deaths Prescot 1851-61. There are lots of Butter marriages in Birmingham.
- Willm Shaw

- Thomas Barnes 45 Founder Y
- Not profiled; not identified with any certainty in other records. Best match is a baptism 28 Apr 1829 of Thomas son of Thos & Eliz (brass founder, Pall Mall) at St Peter Liverpool, but might not be them. There are some potential marriages but none jump out. Not found 1851 or 1861 in St Helens. No deaths Prescot for either of them 1841-51.

- Only 1851 match who's a plumber & glazier is this George Hodgson (1861)
- but there's a likely marriage in 1832 in Bramham to Ann Chambers which aligns with another 1841 record in Bramham.

- Chas McCloglin 26 Laborer I
- Not profiled, identity uncertain - possibly the Charles McLaughlin who married Martha Ferguson in 1846 and their Catholic marriage and children's christenings are listed on FS - this is them in 1861. But there are a number of possible matches for Charles in North America.
- Mary McCloglin 50 I
- Not profiled, identity uncertain. If their ages were instead 37 and 30, which are both plausible misreads from the original though the enumeration book copy clearly has their ages as transcribed, then Charles could have died in West Derby Sep q 1849 aged 45, and Mary could have married John Roby on 15 Jul 1850 at St Thomas, Eccleston. Mary was born 1810 Ireland per 1851.
folio 11 page 14
- James Welsh 25 Laborer I
- Likely this guy in 1851 but not matched in 1861 unless he's this guy, who's not a great match.
- Roger Rooney 45 Laborer I //
- Likely match in 1851 doesn't give a lot to base a profile on. Possibly the same guy as this in 1871? but maybe not since not found in 1861.
