CRANHAM (1836 - 1868)

ON the 8th day of December 1868

Letters of Adminstration of all and singular the personal Estate and Effects of Charles Cranham late of Guildford in the County of Surrey Victualler who died on the 12th day of July 1868 at Guildford aforesaid intestate were granted at the Principal Registry of Probate to Ellen Cranham of Guildford aforesaid Licensed Victualler the lawful Widow and Relict of the said deceased, she having been sworn duly to administer

1. Charles CRANHAM was the son-in-law of Thomas WHITE (1796 - 1864) and husband of Ellen, who jointly took over “The Three Pigeons” on the death of Ellen’s father.

2. Charles’ father was a Butler at Wotton House for a family of the name of Steer.
