NOTES:
1. William Thomas Bertram Roberts was the Drawing & Art Master at Winchester College and married at Godalming in September 1877 Clara Fanny WHITE, the third child of Thomas WHITE junior the brewer and publican.
2. They had five children as follows:
- Bertram Thomas born 1878
- Geoffrey born 1879
- Vera born 1881
- Priscailla born 1883
- Dorothy born 1886
and all were still alive at the time of their father’s death in 1896.
3. It is possible that my mother (born 1895) was named after this Dorothy, this is the only Dorothy that I have found in this branch of the family.
