1900 Summer Olympics |
The 1900 Summer Olympics, or the Games of the II Olympiad, were held in Paris, France from May 14-October 28, 1900. There were no opening or closing ceremonies, and it was part of the 1900 World's Fair. Women were allowed to compete for the first time in these games.[1] Austria sent 15 men. During this time, Austria was a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but the Austrian competitors are listed separately from the Hungarians.[2]
