Overview
The purpose of this free-space page is to list and link all reports involving the 57th Ohio Infantry Regiment included in The War of the Rebellion: A Compilation of the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies, commonly known as the Official Records or OR.
This is currently a work in progress. It is arranged chronologically by report date, with the exception of organization reports, which will be listed by the date of organization.
I have currently gone through all volumes searching the index for Ohio Troops, Fifty-seventh Ohio. Other reports may mention specific soldiers I have not searched for. For example, there is a report by Sherman which mentions Rice specifically, but not the unit.
