If we looked at more births for those Fermanagh Acheson who to say one of them didn't marry and move to Co Down wish we knew who Brought up that baby where did she go had James Acheson brothers that we haven't found
Steve William born prior to 1805 went to America with his son died in Pennsylvania as did James family the landed in New York so am wondering was there more family already in pennyslavania it says ERIE Pennsylvania funny thing is most Irish ended up in Pennsylvania a lot buried in Allegaheney cemetry as my boyd Lockhart and Devitt for bearers all started out there ending up in OHIO and Chicago its funny to think that Finney Acheson relatives also ended there
Steve I am not sure how to view Margaret Anne Acheson I think she definitely was daughter of James Acheson however she was left in Ireland when James Acheson his father William his wife Elizabeth and her family all went to reside in New York This is where my Acheson Trail ends unless William Acheson had other children other than being born prior to 1805 and moving to New York I am afraid this is where my Acheson trail ends unless I can get a baptism with his parents or someone who logged family tree info on Ancestry had additional info on William Acheson or we can find a marriage link to one of your Acheson am afraid this is where the ride ends in our ancestry trail
Thanks for the comment Georgina. Because of the her marriage registration in 1860 I am also sure that Margaret Anne Acheson was the daughter of James Acheson. If our Acheson families are connected then the link is family born before 1780.

In my family Robert Achison was born around 1740. He had 3 sons Francis (1780, my ancestor), Thomas (1805) and Robert (1807). Another Wikitree user has Alexander Acheson (born around 1790 and possibly in Machercoolmoney, County Fermanagh). Is it possible that your William was born around 1780 in County Fermanagh? Do you know where he died?
