Voyage of the Convict Transport Active to the New South Wales penal Colony in 1791
Active departed Plymouth, England on 27th March 1791 as part of the Third Fleet, carrying 175 male convicts. 21 convicts died during the voyage. Active arrived in Port Jackson, New South Wales on 26th September 1791; a voyage of 183 days. It was reported that the convicts had been grossly underfed.
