This is a transcription of the original Letter of Administration issued by the Court of the Diocese of Worcester on the estate of Elizabeth Street or Purser of the parish of Powick, Worcestershire, England. Elizabeth died intestate and her father Nicholas Street applied for Letters of Administration on 26 November 1622. [1]

[In English] The condition of this obligac[i]on is such that yf the above
bounden Nycholas Street the Father and Administrator
of all and singular the goodes Cattles Chattles and Debtes of
Elizabeth Streete alias Purser late when shee Lyved of
Poycke in the Diocess of Worcester Deceassed Doe well and
truely Administer the goodes of the sayd Defunct That is to
saye doe paye all and singular the debts and dueties of the
sayde defunct w[hi]ch shee did owe at the time of her deceasse
soe farr forth as the sayd goodes will thereunto extend
and his the Lawe will Charge him And doe R---ler and
yeald upp A true and p[er]fect accompt of his Administrac[i]on
made of and uppon the p[ro]misses unto the ordinarie of
the dioc[ese] of worcester for the time beinge when he shalbe
thereunto lawfully requested and called And for such
p[ar]te and porc[i]on as shall Remayne uppon his said
accompt he shall stand to and abyde the order and decree
of the sayd ordinarie And lastly doe defend and save harmless
the above named Rev[er]end Father and all others his officers
and ministers at all times hereafter of and from all mann[er]
of p[er]son and p[er]sons havinge or p[re]tendinge to have any Right title
or interest unto the sayd goodes or and p[ar]te or p[ar]cell thereof
